GLIN Project:

St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art

A co-produced project by GLIN and St Mungo's, whereby a group of volunteers research and create a resource in the form of an LGBT interpretative narrative of the displays and objects currently on show in the St Mungo’s Museum.

This is an ongoing project and we are looking for more participants!

Contact us with any questions and to get involved!

Meet Ups

We are happy to provide a space for LGBT+ people of faith to meet up and chat!

Our alcohol-free spaces give people a chance to socialise and have fun outside the general gay scene pub/club environment.

Whether it's to chill out, create art, watch a movie, there's something for everyone!

Connecting Generations: LGBT+ People of Faith

As part of Scottish Interfaith Week 2018, we hosted an event focused on the stories of LGBT+ people of faith. In keeping with Scottish Interfaith Week’s theme of ‘Connecting Generations’ we spoke with people of various ages and life experiences, sharing their stories of how they have come to understand faith, their LGBT+ identity, and the interaction between the two. Every story is unique- whether people grew up in a religion or found faith later in their lives; whether their experiences have been positive, or they’ve struggled through difficult moments- we believe there is value in every experience shared.

Visits to Inclusive Places of Worship

As part of our Interfaith work, we enjoy visiting LGBT+ friendly places of worship!
Starting with our Christmas visit to Glasgow's Metropolitan Community Church, we have a series of visits planned for the coming year!

Education & Panel Participation

We are always eager to share stories to empower queer people of faith and validate them! Our diverse team are always available to deliver talks or participate on panels!
